What we do

There is more in your power infrastructure than backup.

Every data center runs UPS systems and backup generators sized for an outage that rarely comes. We make the margin in them available to the power system, and operate it there on your behalf, without touching computing load and without changing how the site is run.

Where the flexibility comes from

Your power infrastructure is over-dimensioned. That is the point.

UPS systems are built with spare capacity and battery runtime sized for a worst case that rarely arrives. Generators are sized to carry the whole site. The grid connection is contracted for a peak the site seldom reaches.

None of it is idle: standby is the job, and it remains so. But above what the site must be able to guarantee, there is margin. That margin is already installed, already paid for, and doing nothing for anyone. It is what we sell.

INSTALLED CAPACITY · ONE SITEReserved for the site's own dutyAvailable marginthe boundary0 %100 % OF INSTALLED CAPACITY

The boundary is set by your site's design. Two sites of identical size can have very different usable margin.

How we unlock it

Purpose-built hardware and software, already running.

Realizing that margin takes more than a contract. We built the platform ourselves, and it is in commercial operation today.

tsoBOX

Installed at the site. Connects to your UPS systems and generators and makes the margin visible and controllable, without touching computing load or how the site is run.

tsoCLOUD

The platform behind tsoBOX. Operates the margin in the markets: bidding, dispatch, settlement and reporting, in commercial operation since March 2025.

What that margin can do

One connection, more than one use.

Keep the grid stable

The fastest use, and where we operate today: frequency reserves that hold the system steady in the seconds after a disturbance. Your assets respond automatically; you never notice.

Free up capacity on the network

A site that can reduce its draw when the grid is constrained is a site that can connect where firm capacity is not available, and expand beyond what its current agreement allows.

And whatever comes next

What the power system needs, and what it pays for, changes. Products are redesigned, new services open. The same connection carries them; we do the work of following.

What it is worth

01

Revenue from infrastructure you already own

Your UPS systems and generators earn on the balancing markets: the reserves grid operators buy to hold frequency steady. The assets are already installed and already paid for; what changes is that the margin above their standby duty now has a buyer.

02

Room to connect, and to grow

Where the grid has no firm capacity left, flexibility is increasingly what makes a connection possible at all.

03

A site that earns its place on the grid

Data centers face growing scrutiny from grid owners, regulators and the regions they sit in. Flexibility is a concrete answer, and a measurable one.

What stays yours

Connecting critical infrastructure is not a small decision.

Primary duty always wins

Every asset keeps the job it was installed to do. The operating limits come from your site's own design and SLA obligations, not from a template of ours, and the platform enforces them before any instruction executes. Capacity counted toward your redundancy is never capacity we sell.

We work within your facility, not across it

tsoBOX is installed at the site. There is no standard architecture to conform to, no layer sitting over your operations, and no route from our integration into the systems that run the building.

You keep control

You can take your assets back at any time, without asking us.

Getting started

From first conversation to first revenue.

Contract, project planning, installation, then approval by the grid operator (a process called prequalification), which we handle end to end.

Whether a site is suitable depends on its assets, its redundancy design and where it sits on the grid. The first thing we do is look at a configuration and tell you honestly what it could reach.

Find out what your site could offer.

Send us a UPS and generator configuration. We will come back with what it could reach, before anyone signs anything.
